On the cusp of 20 years service in the engine room and still going strong!
Having worked my way up through the ranks of the kitchen from a trainee many moons ago through to head chef now.
Times are tough in kitchens and not just a job or career more a way of life, people may joke at the previous statement but unless you have been in a hot and tense kitchen you just wouldn’t know. Long days and late nights pretty much sum up what I do but it’s not all blood sweat and tears. Cooking amazing fresh food and being innovative with awesome ingredients is such a buzz and when your customers enjoy your food is a great feeling.
I have worked in hotels, restaurants, pubs and other different food service areas and all have given me a wealth of knowledge.
